Ingredients

For the Pizza Rolls:

1 package of wonton wrappers (about 20 wrappers)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup diced pepperoni (or your choice of filling like olives, bell peppers, or cooked sausage)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing

For the Marinara Sauce:

1 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon dried basil (optional)

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

Prepare the Pizza Roll Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, diced pepperoni, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well until combined.

Assemble the Pizza Rolls: Take a wonton wrapper and place 1 tablespoon of the pizza filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water to help seal it. Fold the wrapper over into a triangle and press to seal, making sure there are no air pockets. For extra security, you can further press the edges with a fork.

Coat the Rolls: Once all the pizza rolls are assembled, lightly spray them with cooking spray or brush them with a little olive oil on both sides. This will help them achieve a golden-brown color while cooking in the air fryer.

Air Fry the Pizza Rolls: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the pizza rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. You may need to do this in batches. Air fry for 6-8 minutes or until they are crispy and golden brown, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.

Prepare the Marinara Sauce: While the pizza rolls are cooking, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. If using, stir in the dried basil and red pepper flakes for added flavor. Keep warm until ready to serve.

Serve: Once cooked, carefully remove the pizza rolls from the air fryer. Serve them hot with the warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy your crunchy, cheesy snack!
